Traveling to far-flung locations like the frosty reaches of Russia to the sun-scorched Australian outback, he’s experienced it all. Now a septuagenarian, he calls the American West his home, and the breathtaking Black Hills of South Dakota along with the majestic Big Horn Mountains serve as his regular hunting grounds.
As an accomplished outdoorsman, L.P. has channeled his expertise into crafting comprehensive written works. He has covered a broad spectrum of topics, from contemporary shotgunning techniques to the fine art of long-range shooting. Throughout his distinguished career, he has garnered acclaim as a skilled load developer, specializing in both shotguns and rifles.
In addition to writing, L.P. Brezney has leveraged his vast knowledge and experience in the field and in the testing lab to engineer innovative firearm components to improve the shooting experiences of fellow hunters and marksmen. His entrepreneurial spirit led to the establishment of a reputable company, Ballistics Research & Development / Metro Gun Systems TM, which produces suppressor barrels based on his pioneering designs.
Despite his age, L.P. Brezny’s passion for hunting and firearms remains undiminished. Through his company, he continues to make meaningful contributions to the firearms industry, providing invaluable consulting services and conducting load tests for a wide variety of purposes.
